The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL is a mid-tier trim that received a major refresh for that model year, including updated styling and new powertrain options. It featured a generous list of standard features, ample space, and was available with either a new standard engine or an efficient hybrid powertrain. Performance and specifications Standard engine: The base engine for the 2021 Santa Fe SEL was a 2.5-liter four-cylinder, producing 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. This was an upgrade from the previous model year’s engine. Hybrid option: A new hybrid powertrain was introduced for 2021 and was available on the SEL trim. This version featured a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine combined with an electric motor, producing a total of 226 horsepower. Transmission: The standard 2.5-liter engine was paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, while the hybrid model used a 6-speed automatic. Drivetrain: Front-wheel drive (FWD) was standard, with all-wheel drive (AWD) available as an option on the gasoline model. The hybrid model came with standard AWD. Minimum age requirements are strictly enforced and ensure proper insurance protection. All renters who allow an underage driver will be fined $2,500 and their rental will be immediately canceled.

All renters must have a valid driver’s license within the United States, be 21+ yrs of age, and have full coverage insurance.

Full coverage (comprehensive & collision) is required & “property damage liability” needs to be set to 100,000 at least. “Property damage liability” of 200,000 is required for the highest end exotics.
